I have a cute monkey one from Carter's and also one from Aden & Anais. I personally think 2 is fine!

We preferred some of the thicker ones that are sold in single packs. More like a towel and a bit larger.

Carter's are fine, but we only used hooded towels for 6ish months. I much prefer using full sized towels.

We got a cow hooded towel from Target online, and I love it- should have gotten more! We still use it at 18 months, it's not a fluffy as the pricier ones, but it's soft and does what I need and I think was only $12 or so.

Any hooded towel is a great towel! Total fan of hooded towels.

LO isn't here yet so I can't comment on the best ones, but as far as the pricier PBK ones-- maybe after baby is born, you could subtly mention how you want to get a monogrammed one I love them and think I'll eventually get the toddler sized one, but I sort of want one with his/her name embroidered on it so I'll just wait.

Also they do go on sale sometimes, or offer free monogramming-- though probably not at the same time.

Are the a&a ones good? Can you use toddler ones on infants?

My friend bought the baby a monogrammed hooded towel from Moonbeam baby. It is made out of a regular bath towel and is very high quality! I like it a lot more than the PBK towel I splurged on!

We were gifted a PBK towel and love it! The tag says one size so not sure if its a toddler size or what, but it's definitely still big for LO. We have some off brand thin ones from Ross that were also gifted. I don't love them. I end up toweling her off with the thin ones, then bundling her up in the PBK towel. I'd suggest having at least 1 of the PBK towels.

This is when she was 2 days old in the PBK towel after a sponge bath. She has tons of room to grow.

We had them in both sizes and regularly have two toddler size ones in rotation, while we haven't touched the baby one since like 3 months?

The carter's ones are ok for backup!

Dwell Studio. They are expensive but we got ours for 50% off on ruelala. So absorbent and they are large enough for LO to use as a toddler.

You really only need 3 towels at most...we have 12 or 13 hooded towels and I wish I returned two packs! Hooded towels were a popular gift people gave to us AFTER the baby shower/when baby arrived and of course there were no gift receipt and they weren't on our original registries.

We have mostly BRU brand, and while they were great for when he was little, they barely wrap all the way around him now at 12 months, and my LO isn't that big for his age. We also have a larger hooded towel gifted to us that's from The Children's Place and we love it! It's what we use for his swim lessons since it's bigger and thicker.
