Any recs for an ipad case that will protect it from my 18 month old but also doesn't obviously look like a kids' case? I'm having trouble picturing my DH using the ipad with a giant fisher price case on it.

We have this one... we love it. You can remove the stand part because it makes it a little bulky.

@Raindrop: is this the one that covers the home button??

@chopsuey: I love it but it's hard to imagine my husband using it occasionally on the train to work
@Raindrop: Looks great! Do you feel like it's a good match for a toddler?

I have the beetle defense and love it! When I let J play with it he drops it and steps on it and I've never had problems. I wanted a really high quality, toddler proof case. This fits the bill

@Mrs. Pen: That sounds perfect. I know somebody who might enjoy stepping on an ipad every now and then . What kind of ipad do you have? I only see the beetle listed for ipad air and ipad mini.

@Mrs. Jump Rope: Oooh, good to know. I was disappointed that nobody mentioned toddlers in their reviews but I'm glad to hear you vouching for it! I know that's a popular one.

@MrsF: oh yeah, I have the air. I bought it recently for school.

@MrsF: our iPad has been dropped off the bed and on the hard floor so many times I've lost count. It doesn't hve a single scratch.
Now Chloe says things like "no milk on iPad! No juice. NO NO baaaad!" which makes me wonder WTF is happening when I blink. Or pee.

@Mrs. Jump Rope: Ha. Love it. I find that things that are being said with a "no!" are usually being experimented with a little
@Mrs. Pen: Thanks. The air looks great!

@MrsF: It is so much faster! DH has a work iPad that they gave him and it's the older version and I'm amazed at the difference in speed.

@locavore_mama: Yup it covers the home button. Basically it's a silicon cover with a hard cover over it all. It's pretty indestructible. I must say LO hasn't tried stepping on it (so maybe Mrs. Jump Rope's suggestion is better) but he has thrown it on hard floors and it's fine.

@Raindrop: @MrsF: I also have the Otterbox and I love it. I bought mine on groupon recently for over 50% off so you might want to check there if you decide on this case. I have the Otterbox on my iPhone too. It does make the phone a little bulky, but its nice knowing that a tractor could run over it and it would still make it out unscathed

We have Lifeproof cases on all our idevices! Pricey, but worth it, I think!
