On an airplane. Little girl is teething still, the tooths just keep rolling in after not having any for 11 1/2 months.
Leaving tomorrow and need many many distractions for baby girl who is not a happy camper about these teeth.

We have the "Theres a Monster at the end of this book" app and its cute but not quite there for her at 9 months. Basically it reads the story and you have to click to turn the pages and click to break a few things.

My daughter loved the Koi pond app at that age. The iPad is a great for keeping the LO happy and quiet on the flight. Hope the trip goes well!

Fisher price animals. My son loves it. And it was a free app.

Fisher Price has a bunch of apps that my son loved at that age and even now he loves them. Let's Count 1 2 3, Animals Sounds, Laugh & Learn Shape, Laugh & Learn Learning and his favorite Where's Puppy. Just search Fisher-Price in the app store. They are all free, even better once in the game there are no advertisement in them to accidentally click on. Elmo calls, Peekaboo HD are a couple other I like since they are also ad free.

Peekaboo Barn is the only baby app I have on my phone, but it's great for keeping LO occupied for short periods of time. There is a free version but it's super short... I paid for the longer one

@lozza: My LO loved the peekaboo pets app when he was younger!
Now he likes the music ones called KidSongs. I also have a lot of youtube clips saved as favorites for him. I like the KidsTV123 ones.

@Lozza: LO loved peekaboo barn too. He still plays with it sometimes.
He also like the 'bus' app, it plays the 'wheels on the bus' song and is somewhat interactive. he also likes 'talking hippo' (there's a bunch of other characters as well - it repeats back to you anything you say to it.
