I'm often trying to get food stains out of DD's clothes, but some things just dont want to come out. What's your go-to stain remover? I'd love to find something that I can put on the stain, throw it in the hamper, and wash a few days later.

Oxi clean for sure! I can leave spaghetti sauce on a white onesie for a week, soak it in oxi clean for a couple hours and it's good as new!

@Mrs. Bee: Do you use it like "spray and wash"...like you can put it on the stain immediately and let it sit there and then put the clothes in the laundry in the next day or two?
I'm looking for a new stain remover too and haven't found anything that I love that works well.

We use the Shout pre-treat stuff. We put it on as soon as we can, and it gets out just about everything but blood. And even with blood it does a pretty good job.

After reading a few recommendations on HB, I went out and got the OxiClean stick and it's been great at getting out poop stains! Better than Shout and Zout for that stuff so far!

Resolve spray & wash it my favorite so far. The stains I find that I have the most trouble with are dirt ones, so if there's anything that's good for that I hope someone shares!

Luckily I dont have to deal with poop stains much, but I'm having the hardest time getting out food stains. And dirt on the knees from crawling around, but I've kinda given up on that.

Some food stains never came out for me, like carrots and tomato sauce. Oily stuff tends to leave a residue.

@BeachMama: @looch: my issue is food stains too! Like berry stains and sauce stains. I'm going to try the bio kleen bac out that Mrs. Bee suggested

I don't have a LO yet but I wanted to share my tip for getting blood out of clothes. I use Fantastic. It's meant to be a kitchen cleaner but works wonderfully on clothes without damaging them. I've sprayed it on and left things in the hamper till laundry day and blood comes out every time.

I use Dreft stain remover and it's removed all but the toughest stains. There are a few very stubborn berry stains and a mustard stain I can't get out.

I use OxiClean Laundry Spray with great success on both poop and food. I spilled (my own) blueberry smoothie on her baby feet (mother of the year, I'm telling you) while she was wearing white socks with little red flowers. I took them off of her and threw them in the diaper bag and promptly forgot about them until the end of the week. I sprayed that stuff on them and rubbed it in with a nail brush, let it sit while the washer filled, and then tossed them in. It came out the first wash. Magic. Definitely try using it with a nail brush to rub it in!
