Has anyone found a truly leak proof (or close to leak proof) straw cup?
My 20 month old has taken to throwing cups of milk and our current straw cup (playtex anytime) isn't cutting it!
ETA: Has anyone tried the Munchkin Miracle 360 cup?

We have had good luck with the Nuby ones. It's a different sucking action so there's a learning curve - you kind of have to bite the straw a bit then suck.

I have the Nuby too; it will only leak if there's leftover liquid in the top of the straw after she has sucked it out.

@fmmtk: we have the miracle 360 cup. LO is mostly past the cup throwing stage (fx!) so I can't comment on that part but we like the cup!

The best we've found are the Thermos FOOGO ones: http://www.amazon.com/THERMOS-Vacuum-Insulated-Stainless-10-Ounce/dp/B002UJGK1C/ref=sr_1_2?s=baby-products&ie=UTF8&qid=1452266865&sr=1-2&keywords=foogo.
Not 100% leakproof, but pretty darn close most of the time!

The miracle cups don't leak unless your kids knows how to pinch the edge to make it drip. They are pretty awesome. The only thing is if you don't take them apart all the way regularly, they will grow mold, even with just water. I don't know if I'm just lazy, but we eventually switched to open cups that are easier to clean.

I recently tried the think baby based on a friend's recommendation and I really like it! It's now my go to. My 16 month old likes to hold his cups upside down and started doing that with the thermos foogo we were using. I would come back into the room after 30 seconds to find a highchair tray full of milk. Think baby has had zero leaks so far (about 3 weeks now).
My son has thrown and dropped the munchkin 360 and it still splatters.

@SweetiePie: I was about to say the foogo is the best one we have tried but if she holds it upside down and bangs the straw it will still leak. Sounds like your LO figured that out....

@Foodnerd81: oh yeah. In the last week he has filled his highchair tray twice and then emptied the ENTIRE foogo on his 1 day old anywhere chair. I was gone for 2 minutes to pee! I'll only let him use it now if I'm in constant observation of him!

We use to use the Munchkin Miracle 360 and loved them!!!! Unless you throw them hard or bang them, nothing comes out. DS uses a regular cup now, otherwise we would still be using them.

@SweetiePie: Omg. That's terrible! I usually only let her have milk in the high chair for this reason.

@Foodnerd81: yep learned my lesson there! Though the think baby really is great so I'm still cautiously optimistic about using that outside of the highchair. I just really preferred the foogo for milk for obvious reasons. Boo! Maybe he'll outgrow it and we can go back one day.

We really like the Munchkin 360 and we recently got her (21 mos.) a Cambelback that has a straw. It holds a lot, never leaks, and she loves it.

@fmmtk: we love the munchkin 360 cup. DD throws it all the time and it has never leaked.
I think we are going to get a Contigo or Camelbak straw water bottle for her...I have the adult versions and have never had them leak.
