I like Babyavators. We are on our second pair because they come in different sizes.

I really love the HipsterKid Mustachifier brand. We've probably got 8 pairs lying around the house.

We've mostly just done carters or Osh kosh because we prefer to have a lot. We keep at least 1 or 2 in each car, one in my purse, a couple in the house. That way we always have them.

Babiators for the baby. I've had good luck with Target sunglasses for my 4yo.

Babiators for C. I just get a few cheapy pairs of Carters or Target for my preschoolers who usually lose and break at least a pair each summer. But maybe you teach your kids to treat their stuff more responsibly than I’ve managed to

I pick up pairs at the Target Dollar Spot when I see a color I like. They go missing sometimes (and usually turn up again eventually), but we haven't had a pair break yet, and some of them are heading into their 4th summer.

Good to know babiators are recommended! I was looking at RoShamBo baby sunglasses, because I'm a sucker for instagram marketing, apparently. The look similar but cheaper? Any experiences?
@rattles: You know better than that I'm fighting the uphill battle against their father who both loses everything and is exceptionally hard on everything he owns. So mostly I just spend a lot of time annoyed that things go missing even though I remember exactly where I left them, haha.
I do think multiple pairs for my big guy is smart, though. He is always complaining the sun is too bright and I know he will want pink (his favorite) but I keep waiting for some jerk kid to tell him it's a girl color (false) and then have him decide he hates it. So cheap is better! I'll have to keep an eye at my target- i haven't seen any there yet, but it would be good to put them in their Easter baskets!

@MrsBucky: If you’re looking for pink we got this kind for a recent vacation: https://www.amazon.ca/CGID-Flexible-Polarized-Sunglasses-Children/dp/B06XR8Z1C1/ref=mp_s_a_1_fkmrnull_4?crid=31UP600EGUPPU&keywords=cgid+sunglasses+kids&qid=1553818402&s=gateway&sprefix=cgid+sunglasses&sr=8-4-fkmrnull
They’re pretty great, we actually ran over them with the stroller with two kids in it and they were fine.

@MrsBucky: ditto on target. I am not paying more for kids sunglasses that will get lost etc than I do for my own. Even if you cannot find them in the dollar spot there are some in with the kids clothes areas that are $5.99. They were there last week at our target when we went to replace some that got lost. Very durable—I have never had a pair break, just get lost or too small after multiple summers.
ETA: for a 6 month old a hat might be more reliable sun protection too just a thought

My 4 year old uses the Children's Place sunglasses. They've held up well for the past 2ish years he's had them.
He had ones like these when he was younger, but he didn't care for them much.
