Out of the two of us, I'm definitely the one who is more ready and wants to try. DH is, in his words "terrified" because "my whole life will change all at once." Which in some ways i get, but also i think it will change for the better!
Two of my married girlfriends who I've talked to about it are both the ones who want to wait but their husbands are trying to push for trying sooner.

me -- after we were married two years. but it ended up taking 2 years to eventually become pregnant with charlie so glad we started earlier rather than later!

I was ready about 25 minutes after we said I do. He made me wait about 6 months.

DH! But I still had a semester of law school left when we got married and did not want to take the bar exam pregnant, so we waited a year.

My husband was pretty vocal about having kids within the first year or two of dating. I needed (a lot) more time.

I'm pretty sure it was me, but DH was on board. My dream was always to get married and have babies those...not sure that was DH's top of the list plan.

Definitely me! It took a few months of convincing him we could afford it (complete with spreadsheet presentations lol), but now that I'm pregnant he is over the moon that we didn't wait. It's funny!

I wanted to TTC way more than he did. I had already collected baby stuff long before even trying. It took him awhile to get there.

We both wanted to wait one year after getting married but I got pregnant during our engagement. I had baby fever for #2 before he did!

I was totally ready wtih baby fever and he wasn't ready to take the plunge. I knew he would never really be ready. I'm glad it just "happened" for us because otherwise I'm not sure it would ever happen.

We've both wanted babies forever, but I was more practical and had to hold him back for about a year after we got married while we got into a better place career-wise.
Even though I was the one making us wait, I was sick with baby fever during those months - on here constantly, researching gear, charting...

Same. We both wanted to TTC right after we got married. We talked about it when we got engaged, so we had a year before actually trying.
TTC for #2 is another story. I'm going crazy because I'm ready and dh is worried because he doesn't feel like he has job security, otherwise I think he'd be more on board.

I definitely talked about it more. We both agreed on when to start TTC though. I double checked with him cause I wouldn't want him to feel like he was pushed in it.

We both wanted to start ntnp when we got married but I wanted to wait until after our honeymoon before we went all in. Then I got pregnant (while ntnp) and miscarried and now my baby fever is much greater than his... At last I think it is.

Me ALL THE WAY. Hubs never really seemed that into it, although once we started trying, he did seem to want to do it "right" (he got mad at me one cycle because we were doing it every other day instead of every day and he thought we should be doing it more to up our chances).
When we got married though, we had talked about when we wanted to start a family (or, more likely, when I wanted to start a family) and we agreed on year to start trying. And then for the year leading up to then, I would bring it up every so often to remind him that it was coming up and he would just sort of roll his eyes at me. But when it came time to start trying based on our previously agreed upon date, he seemed fine with it!

Me definitely. That's why we are still waiting. I'm still trying to talk DH into it! LOL I think it will be another year or two though for us. Although we had a small break through the other day. DH was coming out of the shower and said "Don't ask my why I thought of this but do you like the name "....." ?" So he must be thinking about babies a little right?!

I had baby fever about a year after we got married but we had already decided to wait at least two years before trying...especially bc I wanted to be a SAHM...we saved my income during that time for our down payment and bought a house. I'm so glad we waited bc I love being a SAHM
My husband has baby fever for #2 but I want to wait until LO turns 2...so this time the roles are reversed

DH for sure. He would always bring it up and wanted to TTC right after we got married. It took me a little while to warm up to the idea.

We both finally decided we wanted to have kids at the same time, but I was ready to start TTC before DH only because he was so worried about having enough $. I was worried too, but I was even more worried about my age since we didn't decide to have kids in the first place until after we turned 30. He needed a major peptalk about the fact that we're never actually going to feel like we have enough $ (which is true for most people I think), but how long did we really want to wait.

I was definitely ready for #1 first, but he was ready for #2 WAY before me.... pretty much 3 months after #1 was born. haha....
our LO's will b 15 months apart when #is born!

We both wanted to ttc, but didn't say anything, cause we had only been married a few months. It was always a "maybe one day" thing, or talked about in the future, and there were days that both of us would say we didn't want to. THEN, I got accidentally knocked up and then miscarried. At that point we both said "yep, lets do this."

We both wanted to try in the next few years, but DH was the one that pushed us to start earlier. In September I went to the pharmacy to get my BC and he had me meet him for lunch the next day to tell me that he thought we should start trying. He was so excited and couldn't wait until he got home from work to talk about it!

Me, though DH was fine with whenever. It ended up being me first because I had presented him with this whole plan where we'd be married for a year, start looking for a house, then start TTC. And then less than a month after we got married I told him I wanted to go off the pill lol. It took him a minute to adjust to the new plan, but he was on board
