I am very modest.
I breastfeed anywhere lo gets hungry. So, I guess I have no limits. I wear enough layers (cardi, shirt, tank, scarf, etc) that I am confident I don't flash anyone. I think it helps that a tend to wear shirts of the drapier variety so i can arrange it to cover any exposed flesh. DH hates it and always tries to make me go into a bathroom when we're out

Not even TTC yet and I think about this. I'm really modest, and feel like I would only BF without a cover infront of DH.
I saw this and pinned it to my secret board.. not sure if it would actually work well though?

@Penny Lane: no offense, but if my DH wanted me to do that I would totally serve his next dinner in the bathroom. So gross.

@sera_87: exactly. I sent him into the bathroom and said would you want to sit in one of those stalls for longer than a few seconds? Do you really want your baby EATING in there?

I never nursed in public. I did 1 of 2 things:
Either I'd go into a dressing room or to my car (backseat, tinted windows)
Or
I'd bring a bottle of pumped milk
Around others, I used a cover. I never breastfeed without a cover in front of anyone but DH!

I will BF with a cover nearly everywhere. It makes me a little uncomfortable if there are a lot of people walking around, but if baby is hungry enough.... I'll still do it. If she's not screaming, I'll look for a more secluded area (e.g. off to the side instead of in the middle of a busy cafeteria or something).
I don't like BF without a cover except in front of DH and my mom the first week.

I'll happily breastfeed pretty much anywhere in public without a cover providing I feel comfortable in that place. Having said that I do try to be discrete about it and will find an out of the way spot when necessary.
Two places I don't feel right breastfeeding are visiting my work (I'm on maternity leave) or in a business-type meeting.
So far I've nursed on planes, in cafes, restaurants, behind a ride-on lawnmower at an agricultural show (!), music class, parenting classes, on top of a mountain - the list goes on!

I have no limits.
I don't use a cover, and I've nursed her in restaurants, Target, Walmart, waiting rooms, my grandpa's living room, sitting next to my dad on the couch... eh. When baby's gotta eat, she eats. No biggie. It's feeding a baby, not stripping.
