I'm really not sure if I can swing $100+ right now for Birkenstocks so I'm wondering if anyone has luck loving something similar that's cheaper!

I really like my Birkenstocks I've had them 3 years now and they're good for long summer walks when I don't want to wear runners. For me they've been worth the investment because they've lasted.

Not quite as sturdy but I love my rainbow flip flops and they are closer to $50

Target has some sandals right now that look just like Birkenstocks! I will say the plus side of expensive Birkenstocks is that they last forever. But the Target ones would be a great, less expensive version

@Peasinapod: DH has them so I totally know how long they last and he loves them! Whenever I carry DD around, none of my sandals cut it! Ugh, maybe I need to just bit the bullet and get a pair!

I bought the ones that Bee recommended from Old Navy and they are so comfy!! And actually, cute because metallic silver doesn't scream "grandpa Birkenstocks" to me haha

Kmart has so Joe Boxer sandals that look like Birkenstocks--they are more like secure flip flop style rather than the two strap look. Not sure how cheap you want to go
Lands End, LLBean, and Cabelas usually have something similar too--def higher quality than Joe Boxer
