I was 3 weeks PP last year so we just went to dinner with the girls.

We might go to Disneyland this year.

For my birthday we usually go to our family cottage at the beach for a BBQ and cake since it's in the summer.

Dhs birthday is next week and we will be at disney world !!!' I got reservations for the steakhouse at epcot and we will watch the fireworks. Can't wait!!!

Our birthdays are 6 days apart. DH was on a Thursday and he got home super late. So the next night I had steaks, sauteed spinach and baked potatoes for dinner. Even made him his favorite cake. No present just a card.

The next Friday, he asked me what we were doing for dinner. I said I don't know, then said something we had on hand. I was pretty upset he didn't even do anything special for me. Since my actual bday was work and then eating by myself after R was asleep. I didn't even get my card till Sunday night, cause he forgot about it.

He cooked me a nice dinner the night before, and we just went out to dinner on my actual birthday. For his we were on vacation; I timed it that way! For my birthday this year I'm hoping maybe we can do a mini babymoon!

My birthday is in a month, and we're thinking about asking the inlaws to visit so they can watch LO and we can go somewhere for a night or two, so DH and I can have some "us" time. Even though I have to pump while I'll be gone--so not sure how relaxing it will be--but the sleep will be awesome!!

I went out to breakfast with one of my best friends and then my parents and brother came over for lunch and cake (raspberry pie actually). And I gave them all the norovirus.

This year, some girlfriends and I did tea at the Ritz. For Dh's, i took him to dinner and a concert.

I'm having a few friends over for pizza, drinks, and birthday cake. LO will be in attendance My birthday is just 2 weeks after hers so I don't do anything big anymore (I used to always throw a big party for my birthday).

DH and I try to do dinners out on our birthdays, too. Although I have a feeling that he got us tickets to see Wicked, and I'm super duper excited.

Last year lo was three months and really colicky and fussy still but we went to the zoo and then dh made us bacon blue cheeseburgers from a free range local farm. So.good.

This year I am not sure. Next year we hope to go camping again. Normally we camp for a week because our birthdays are a few days apart. We hope to start doing it next year for los birthday in june as well.

Mine was just a couple of weeks ago and everything was really up in the air because two days beforehand for IV fluids and a bad infection. Thankfully (well, mostly thanks to the doctors and lots of help from my mom) I was feeling better by then. My mom took the day off work and hung out with me and did most of the work taking care of L. When DH got home from work we had cake with L and my parents, and then they took L overnight so we could have a date night. My choice, of course, so we ended up going to Mongolian Barbecue for dinner and then going to see Divergent. It was an excellent night and way better than what I expected after my hospital trip!

Didn't do anything but dinner and cake at home last year because I was one month pp with J!

This year, didn't do much. I took the Friday off before my birthday, and DH and I went to eat AYCE KBBQ for lunch.

We did do much last year because we were getting ready to close on our house and prepping our move.

This year we're going to watch the Book of Mormon and probably a dinner with ds.

Well my birthday is a few days before Halloween, which I love. And I love scary movies and was also 13 weeks pregnant on my last birthday. So DH booked couples massages for us then we went home and carved pumpkins and then went out for Mexican food (my fav!) and then he had bought us tickets to a showing of The Shining at a local theater.

@locavore_mama: He did! And they were expensive but the show was well worth the wait. I loved it!
