I'm looking for a birthday gift to give to someone this weekend. She'll be a few days postpartum from giving birth too. Any ideas?
What would you have loved to get for yourself a few days after giving birth? And not freezer meals... She has those covered and I don't cook

I spent the first few weeks post-baby on the couch with a baby attached to my boob, either watching TV or reading. I'd have loved something like a set of DVDs of my favorite show, or a gift certificate to Amazon or Barnes and Noble.

I feel like everything is about the baby now so anything just for her would be nice. Maybe a gift certificate for a clothing store since she's probably between sizes right now, or a gift certificate for a massage.

I wanted to second the Amazon giftcard. Or what about a Tervis cup? If she's nursing, she's probaby drinking a ton of water. I love my Tervis!

@Andrea: omg! I have to update this thread with my review of Milkin' Cookies!! Thanks @Andrea for the rec!! I got them for my sister. I ordered them on a Friday, they baked and shipped that Monday, and she got them on Tuesday. I visited her this week and tried a cookie... SO GOOD. I got her Oatmeal Chocolate Chip. I'm so ordering some more for myself today!! Thanks again.

@Andrea: oh and another thing i love about them, especially as gifts... they are only for BF'ing mamas, so everyone else in the house is usually too shy/scared/weirded out to try them... more for us! lol. two more trimesters and you'll be munching on some, i'm sure
