My doctor did not tell me how long to expect bleeding post d&c and I am starting to get concerned.
I got my d&c on the 23rd of june (13 days ago) and am still bleeding. it is red, going through about one-two liners a day. I had to go into the doctors on the 27th because of immense pain where they diagnosed me with an infection. I end the prescription tomorrow and am wondering when to expect the bleeding to stop or when I should contact them again...? Any advice/thoughts?

I bled for the whole month after my D&C. It wasn't as heavy by 2.5-3 weeks, though. I hope it slows down for you soon

I think normal is 2-3 weeks is average. I bled longer than normal and Doctor didn't intervene until I had bled 5 weeks.

I bled heavily for about 3 weeks. Lightly for about 2 weeks and spotted off and on for another 2 weeks or so. I had no complications, I just bled quite a bit.

I bleed for about 2 weeks. The first week was more like spotting, light pink. The second week was heavier and red. Then at the end of the second week, I felt a few gushes with small clots, and the next day all the bleeding just stopped.

I bled for a whole month also and just continued on into the next period - and it was intermittently heavy, there wasn't even a pattern. 1-2 liners per day isn't bad, i was told to call them if i was filling a pad per hour. Hang in there!
