I'm a picky eater, to the point that it may be a disorder (there's discussion of it in this thread, but it's gold-only, sorry- http://boards.hellobee.com/topic/i-think-i-have-an-eating-disorder-but-not-what-you-think-long). I don't eat any fruit, and the only veggies I eat are corn, potatoes, and beans. (There are a few others I can stomach, but only very few and it's hard to force myself.) A lot of it is sensory issues with texture, so I can do some fruit in smoothies, but I definitely can't eat any. (Just for the record, I take very good quality liquid vitamins to try to make up for it as much as I can.)

All that to say, I'd like to do BLW, partially in hopes of helping give LO her best chance of not winding up like me, but it seems like it won't be as effective when eating what I'm eating won't give her much. DH is the opposite of me, he'll literally eat anything, so at least for meals where he's eating with us it's less of an issue.

So has anyone tried BLW if you're picky? Beyond making an effort to provide foods I don't eat myself, any advice? And what do you do when your LO wants you to eat a bite of their food? I can't just choke it down and not make a face- some textures will make me throw up if I try to eat them. I don't want her to decide something is bad because I won't/can't eat it.
