This is the first year in four years I'll be missing Bonnarroo. 
I think my six day old is a pretty good reason for not being there, but they are live streaming a lot of the shows so I know what I'll be doing this weekend!!!

I am most pumped for Monsters and Men, Matt and Kim, Mumford, The xx, Wu Tang, and Edward Sharpe! Anyone else planning to check it out?

Actually, I heard via Mumford's facebook page that they are cancelling their Bonnaroo and Telluride performances. One of their band members had a blood clot on his brain and needed surgery. So I don't think they are going to be there. We saw them last weekend here in Austin before they announced it.

They are LIVE STREAMING it? I didn't know this! I've always wanted to go and the one year I planned to do it, one of my good friends got married on that same weekend and asked me to be a bridesmaid. Wah wah.
I hope I can see Jim James (if I make it up that late), the XX, Lumineers, The National, and Grizzly Bear. All bands that I want to see live and I've never gone to their shows.

Awesome! Thanks for the link! That's how I felt at Coachella and EDC, though DH did buy tix for Coachella next year already. Not sure if I'll be ready to leave a 1 year old though. Love how every festival practically is live-streamed now!
I want to check out Jack Johnson on the live stream! Haven't seen him play in years! I'd like to see Mumford & Sons, The Lumineers, and maybe Wu-Tang for kicks!

@shopaholic: I am trying to decide when we'll be ready for a festival again. We may check out Hangout Fest if the lineup is good because we could maybe take the baby and stay in a condo in a few years. If we went any sooner we would have to leave him behind.
We got a Wu Tang onesie for A from my sister for Christmas because DH thought it was cool, but it is too big for him right now.

Bonnarroo's lineup always seems so awesome. Eventually I'd like to try and make the trip for it. Luckily, I'll be seeing Edward Sharp and Mumford in September for Gentlemen of the Road, and I just saw Paul McCartney in May. I'd love to see Grizzly Bear, though.

I don't know if I can watch the live stream. It will have so many mixed feelings for me. Feelings of sadness/jealousy that I'm not there, and also anxiety, because 3 years ago, one of my dear friends died at Bonnaroo. I don't know if I could ever go back, because I would be so worried about every person I saw
Sorry to be such a Debbie Downer! I have been twice and it was amazing both times. And the lineup this year is incredible, no doubt. Maybe we'll try a different festival one day.

Had to update this thread real quick because my best friend got engaged at Bonnaroo!! We always go together and she texted me a pic on Sunday night of her ring and said "Best Bonnaroo Ever" - I can't wait to hear the story. She won't tell me until she sees me in person.
