I just finished The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. Although good, I thought it was over-hyped. Any others that come to mind?

I feel that way about a lot of books, tbh, especially some classics (Anne of Green Gables makes me want to gouge my eyes out). A recent one that comes to mind is The Bride Test.

Digital Minimalism by Cal Newport. Deep Work was very helpful but this not so much.

The Goldfinch. It started out so promising and then it was like she didn’t know what to do with the story or how to end it and it just went off the rails.

@Jennibenni: The Goldfinch was so disappointing! The first few hundred pages were great, then it just dragged on and on for another four hundred pages.
