I am having a nightmare of a time installing an Evenflo Secure Kid harnessed booster using sure LATCH and seat belt in my moms Nissan Rouge and am beginning to think it’s the car and not the seat. Anyone have tips for installing in this car? If not... Any car seat recommendations? DD is almost 5.5 and could do a high back booster instead of a harness.

We have the Graco Nautilus Elite or something like that and it’s been easy enough.

If you’d be comfortable with a high back booster/using the cars own seatbelt, Check and see if your mom’s car has built in boosters (the seats fold down) - my neighbor’s Rogue does! I didn’t know this existed and thought it was a cool feature.

@ladybee: I did see that and it looks like I should be able to install the seat so I’m not sure what I am doing wrong. I tried the seat belt install and it just won’t get tight.
