This is so insane. I can't stop reading the updates. Praying for all the people in boston, and hoping its all over and the senselessness ends. This thread is great to get info because so many sources say different things. I can't believe something like this is even happening. Definitely makes you want to hug your family and keep them close.

ok another question: Is the suspect injured?
They said that there appears to be a substantial amount of blood at the scene. Is he injured in a way that he could die on the scene? Or is he completely alive? I'm not sure exactly on the specifics of what has happened the last 24 hours.
ETA: they just discussed this on WCVB, they are unsure whether he's injured but given the details of the shootout last night, it is definitely possible.
