I do, but only when the dishwasher's almost full. I won't let them sit in there for a couple days. I sanitize once a week using steam bags.

I want to wash in the dishwasher but I only have 5 bottles that we like right now. How many do y'all have and how often do you run the dishwasher?

@charlotte: I run dishwasher pretty much every day. Less frequently now that she's only having one bottle a day

Ha, right after I posted I went straight to the kitchen where a days worth of bottles and pump parts awaited. They are all in the dishwasher now ! First time! I'm so excited!

I do if we are running it anyway, usually just on the weekend though.

@charlotte: lo takes 4 bottles while I'm at work but he drinks out of a different bottle from the ones that fit my pump so we have double the bottles each day. Raaaah!

I rinse after use then run the dishwasher every day or two. I hand wash nipples and the blue parts from dr browns because they didn't seem to get as clean.

@coacheswife123: I do. Almost every time. I hate handwashing and we eat at home so much that I have enough dishes to justify a full load. Most of the time.

I handwash. Sigh. We rent and are currently trying to get our landlord to buy a new dishwasher. If we owned the house, I would have bought one a while ago. It just doesn't get the bottles clean enough.

Our dishwasher tends to get food everywhere (we're trying to figure out why), so not right now. But we do have one of those little baskets in there for small bottle/baby parts.

No, I've been handwashing them since we started on formula almost full time. I didn't even know that you could wash bottles in the dishwasher until this thread.
