How many times a day do you have to change yours? How long have you been breastfeeding?

I am super new at this still -- just started using these routinely and it can vary--- but I have been changing them maybe 4 times? Depends on when he eats, plus my milk levels seem to be adjusting (lo is only 1 week old).....
Curious to see what others say!

I didn't really have leaking issues so I could almost make it through an entire day with the same set of pads.

I'm about 4 weeks in and usually make it through the day with one pair, occasionally I'll use 2.

I would change 1-2 times a day in the early months. Now I'm 4.5 months postpartum, still nursing/pumping, and I don't need to wear them anymore during the day. I wear the cloth washable ones at night.

@Thehistoryofus: Same for me. I stopped using them after the first month!

@autumnlove: I had to use then again when I started pumping. When I would nurse on one side I would let down on both sides am leak bc I was used to pumping both sides at once.

I have been breastfeeding for 6 months, and I change mine about twice a day now

@hellobeeboston: No I dont think you are doing it too often. I used to change very often when my baby was a newborn; somtimes after every feeding because the pads would feel heavy and soaked. If they feel dry then you dont need to change it

I change mine when I get dressed for the day(putting on daytime nursing bra) then, when I put on my night time nursing bra I put in a new pair. My DD is 2 months old.

LO is 4 months, and I change 2x a day. When she was smaller I had to change much more often though!
