At what age did you successfully reintroduce it? oh man, I can't wait to eat cheese again!

My son wasn't intolerant, diary just made him spit up more often. I kept eating cheese throughout and started milk/yogurt/etc at 9 months. But I heard 6 months is the standard (because their digestive systems have had more time to develop). He still spits up more often if he eats yogurt directly though.

I'm trying it right now at 8.5 months. It's only been since Friday but so far so good.

I'm not BF anymore, but M is 10 months and MPI and I'm hoping to get the go ahead to try some dairy with her at her GI appointment this week!

We tried every month after a year of age if I'm remembering correctly... It was awhile ago, so my dates are fuzzy now!

@MrsF: how did they diagnose it? At 2.5 months his ped said to try eliminating it because of his acid reflux and it helped a lot. We've since stopped the medicine. But they never did tests.

@travellingbee: M had always been a very fussy baby but then she had obvious blood in her stool at 3 months. We put her on Nutramigen formula and everything got much better. She also had reflux after we stopped dairy but prilosec helped her. She's off the prilosec now and still doing well with reflux. I'm really hoping the dairy issue has resolved too!

I reintroduced at 8 months.

He had a mild sensitivity but I could definitely tell if I had something with butter in it by accident. I started eating it again at 6 months and have given him a few things here & there. No issues.

@scg00387: I'm hoping this is the case with us. I think his sensitivity is mild but I can tell when I mess up!
