I second the Aden blankets. I have the pashmama and it's pretty thin and light. But I made the mistake of getting it in neutral and it's pretty see through. I bet in black it would be fine.

I agree w/ the A&A blankets. They have been amazing in this hot and humid TX heat and they're large enough that they cover as much as a nursing cover would

I have a cheap muslin infinity scarf from Target that does the job when I want to be covered. It's thin, but has a bold print so isn't sheer.

We also always used the A&A blankets. The only problem is they aren't nursing covers, so it was sometimes hard to get them situated correctly!

If you know anyone who can sew, have them make sew on a snap, or attach a velcro strip to the A&A blanket. My MIL made one for my SIL and it was awesome.

You could buy or make something like this and use the A&A blanket.
