I got some this week and made cookies with it. But I know other people sprinkle it into their food. To be honest I hate the taste so the cookies work best for me and I did find it made a difference : )

I put it in cookies with oatmeal and flax seed. It works. Tastes funky not in something though.

@matador84: I may be in the same boat! My supply is so weak! I am going back to work tomorrow and am worried! I just pumped and only got 2 oz, used to get 4 in the morning and he eats 4oz! Ahh! Maybe I will check out this brewers yeast and make some cookies....
I'm taking fenugreek too.

@hellobeeboston: Does fenugreek make you gassy? I've heard it can, so I've avoided it, but am still interested.

I didn't know you could use it to boost supply! I used to take it for added protein. I liked to sprinkle it on pasta, salads or oatmeal.
ETA: I just realized what I took was nutritional yeast - I think the taste is different, it's like nutty.

It tastes gross. I'll try beer tonight! Desperate! I don't have enough milk for daycare tomorrow. Took fenugreek for 10 weeks, been on reglan for 3. Took a z pack this week due to strep and it killed my supply.

@MaisyMay: some people are fine with fenugreek and some people get gassy. I tried fenugreek capsules once and the more milk plus liquid another time and had to stop both because it gave both E and I gas and other unpleasant digestive upset. Pumping whenever I can and hand expressing after pumping has helped to re-up my supply when it's dropped but I still struggle and haven't found any miracle supplement.

I mixed it would soup an sprinkled it on salads very often and generously. My oB said to lay it thick!
It worked for me and took me from nothing to being able to do one feeding a day. Ultimately though, my issues were to severe for anything to help:/
Anyways--take a probiotic with it, unless you like vaginal infections;)
