How often do your burp your LO while nursing?

I burped her a ton when she was really little...I had to EP and I'd say at least after each ounce (when we were trying to BF, every time she unlatched, I would try). I found if I didn't get a good burp she was more likely to spit up (well that's what I told myself because who really knows exactly why babies do what the do!).

i used to burp between switching sides and after the second side. a lot of times she didn't have a burp.

I burp him after he's done. We only feed on one side per session though and he usually burps only half the time. Today he had a bottle of pumped milk and I burped him halfway through and afterwards. He had a lot more burps.

When she was itty bitty I burped her switching sides and when she was done. Now I rarely even burp her because she doesn't ever burp anymore, and if she does need to she does it on her own the second I lift her up.

Breastfed babies don't take in air the same way bottle fed do. There's not really a lot of air in the boobies.

I never did! If lo needed a burp then she usually did it once I lifted her up from the feeding position.

Between sides, when she would sometimes burp, sometimes not, and when she's done, when she usually would burp. She definitely needed it sometimes!
Now at 7 months I don't always, often she will burp when I pick her up, though sometimes she does need it.

I tried a few times for each LO in the early newborn days. They never really needed it.

I burp my EBF 3.5 month old in between sides and then after she's done. She always always always needs to burp.

My EBF usually needs to burp after a feeding. And usually it's one giant man-burp. I only offer 1 side per session.
