Has anyone successfully purchased an item that was on the exclusion list of BuyBuyBaby's 20% off coupon?

when we bought our ergo, we bought several other items and used a bunch of 20% coupons, the ergo was one of the items that the coupon discounted!

I have not yet, but I'm not above trying! We bought a Dutalier glider and that one is listed as only 10% off using the 20% coupons, and they stuck to that.
If you can't use the 20, you should be able to use the registry completion discount on anything (only 10%, and only one time)

@Foodnerd81: I just received my completion discount, but if I can purchase some of the items using the 20% coupon, that'd be awesome! Guess I'll try using the 20% coupon first and if it fails, I'll use my completion discount.

I just helped my SIL register there are the manager that helped us said that if you put up enough fuss they will just give you the 20% off. (We were asking about the City Mini Stroller) Maybe all the stores are like that???

Our ByeByeBaby is inside a BedBath&Beyond...they told us they do NOT follow the exclusions, no questions asked, and we have purchased many items on the exclusion list for DS. Including our City Mini and nursery furniture. They also take competitor coupons, price match, and if you forget your coupon and come back later the will price adjust. They also will continue to value a coupon from one of their ads that has expired, but the email coupons you print expire on the date stated.

@creativemomma15: Good to know! We're planning on getting the City Select so the 20% off coupon will be great to use on it along with some of the acccesories like the car seat adaptor.

@Alivoo01: you can also register at BRU and use their completion discount at BBB (it's 15%). Also, price check it online.. I got them to match the price of some random site. Our carseat ended up being 33% off.

Has anyone had luck with price matching to an Amazon price? We have gift cards to BBB, but Amazon has a great deal on the Britax/B-Agile combo that we are planning on getting.

@Alivoo01: Did you get a registry completion event email? I just got one yesterday, it's a "private" event at my store where I can get 20% off my entire registry completion purchase, instead of the usual 10, but it's only at my local MA store. I wonder if they have that at most? The email does NOT specify any brand exclusions, only excludes diapers, Destination maternity, and formula and baby food.
