I never have, but I think they can be so pretty. My photographer surprised me on my wedding day asking if I wanted to do a few shots before getting ready, but it felt awkward with so many people in the house and I didn't feel mentally prepared lol. It's something I think could be fun with a grey photographer who knows how to teach you how to look your best. Though, my DH thinks there's no point for photos like that to just be tucked away in a drawer somewhere lol.

I did a "sexy" photo shoot but not really boudoir exactly. It was so much fun. I love how the photos came out.

those photos are beautiful! i briefly considered a boudoir when i was engaged. Luckily I asked DH what he thought first and he was adamantly against and would not have been happy if i did them. Other than then, i've never had a desire to do boudoir shots and doubt i ever will.

@californiadreams: same with my DH, he wasn't keen on the idea! He just didn't want someone else, even a female photographer, seeing me like that.

I did boudoir photos for my husband for a wedding gift. He loves them. And I have never felt sexier or more confident than I did during/after that photoshoot. I felt fantastic about myself and my body. I still do when I look at the photos.

I did for our first valentine's day, which was a few days after our wedding. DH loved them.

I made a boudoir calendar for DH for our 1 year wedding anniversary and he LOVED it! I am really glad I did it too because I will never have my old body back.

@Mrs. Pen: Lol! I should have done it when I had the chance, not with this mama body now, I'm way too self conscious.

I did boudoir photos for DH for our 1-year anniversary. Then I got pregnant the following month...I am so glad I did them!

@littlebug: that just makes me happy! Every woman should be able to feel that way about their body.
@Boogs: haha yeah I hear ya!

I did them about a month before our wedding and had a little book/album made. The photographer was actually a long time friend from LiveJournal! I was out her way for work training and the first time we met was when she did the photos!

I love that these pictures were of "real" women and not a bunch of photoshopped models!
I love boudoir pictures. I would love to have some done after I lose some more weight.

I had them done for my husband for our wedding. I'm glad I did them because I weighed 117 lbs and was in the best shape of my life. I'll never look like that again, so it's nice to have the memories.

I had them done the month before our wedding, and I'm so glad I did! Both for myself and DH... I have one printed out as my workout inspiration

I did and I would recommend it to anyone! I did them as a wedding gift to my husband, but I was surprised at how good it made me feel about myself. It helped that my photographer was wonderful and gave me a ton of helpful direction, but it gave me so much confidence. And my H looooooved the album I gave him. Like he said it would be one of the material items he'd rush to save in the event of a fire hahaha.

I love this collection of photos. It's really empowering that beauty can come in so many shapes and sizes -- all of this women are so sexy!
I wish I'd done some pre-baby for DH but he actually just mentioned to me that he would love if I'd do some while pregnant to remember the beauty of this stage. I need some bravery though, first!

Loved those shots!! I did a boudoir shoot for my husband for a wedding gift. I was really nervous about it because I am (was) not thin. I was about a size 18. But I loooooooooved the photos. They were so beautifully done and flattering, and my husband absolutely loved the album I gave him after our wedding. He thought I should make it a yearly tradition for our anniversary-- until I told him how much they cost me lol. But I would totally consider doing another shoot for a bigger anniversary, 5 or 10 years maybe
(Also I highly recommend if you're going to do them-- get a female photog and one you trust! I was sooo self conscious at first and my photog lifted up her shirt and was like see this chub and these stretch marks? You don't have anything I haven't seen and you're going to look hot. Trust me. And I did. And she made me look amazing )

They do nothing for me (seeing those ones!) and I would never have the courage or confidence to ever attempt.

These are great!
I did a combination of self-taken shots and some a good friend took of me for D right after we got married. I felt very empowered! I wish that I still felt that good about my body!

I did before our wedding and put all the pictures in a book for DH. It was very PG rated so as in I was in a bra and underwear at all times. Honestly, I felt like the photo shoot was more for me than him!! I loved how it turned out!

I just wanted to say that I recently did a boudoir photo shoot. I know most people do it before they get married. But I was feeling kind of cruddy about my body after having a baby and someone suggested that I do this. Mama belly and all... I second the idea of having a female photographer. She made me feel beautiful and sexy and the pictures turned out great. My husband is also pretty happy with them so I just wanted to encourage anyone who says that they can't do it now that they've had a baby. It's the perfect time! It really helped me feel sexy again!!
