I have no memory of solids with my first daughter and feel so lame now that my second daughter is 6 months old and I have no idea what I'm doing.

Around 11 months? She was doing three meals of solids plus snack plus breast milk.

We started 3 meals around 8.5 months. Then around 9.5 months we introduced one snack a day, depending on the day. She's now 10.75 months and eats three fairly big meals, one snack, and breastfeeds 3-4 times/day.

By 8 months she was on three meals and 4 bottles a day.

@Smurfette: That's the same schedule we got on by 8 months - 3 full solid meals, and 4 bottle feedings.

Right now we are on 2 meals and 4 bottles. Dd is 7 months old. I'm thinking we will get up to the third meal in another month or so.

12 months....she wasn't a good eater until then.

ds was way into solids, probably around 9 months? he was still nursing too.

DS is 15 months and we put food in front of him three times a day, but he doesn't eat much, so it's difficult to call it "three solid meals".

Right around 9 months, we went to three full meals, plus 4 nursing/bottle sessions (plus two overnight, ugh!).

9 months. That's when the doctor told me I had to start offering 3-4 times a day. Before then I would only give him a bite or two here and there.

I added a second meal 2 weeks after starting solids. Then went to LO's 6 mo visit and dr said I could add a third. So starting just before 7 months we were eating 3 x a day, but they are all little meals. Sometimes only a few bites.

I didn't get her on a full three meals/day until 8 months.
