Which do you prefer and why?
I think you all have convinced me not to use J&J products.

We prefer Burt's bees for shampoo and baby was because I feel like it gets baby cleaner and leaves less residue.

I can't stand the scent of Burt's bees stuff--I find it really strong and cloying. But a lot of ppl like it!

We are going to try both. My mom has used BB on a baby she watched and loved it. I've heard CB might be better for our LO's biracial skin/hair.

California baby. I don't like Burt's bees smell either.

@hilsy85: I agree about the smell, but I hated the California baby residue more! Oh and I think California baby smells like plastic!

Don't they make an unscented line of Burt's Bees? Has anyone tried any of those products?

I use unscented burts bees for myself.. for LO we use earth angel mama baby!

I've been using Babyganics cream wash and Earth Mama Angel Baby. It's orange vanilla scented!!!

i can;t compare as i have only used burt's on my baby, but i love it! i love how he smells after! but i also love honey in general, so maybe that's part of it.

I only used BB but I love it... Dd smells so nice after her nightly bath. And although I don't use soap every single night, she has done ok with almost every night and not getting dried out!

I also am a huge fan of Burt's Bees. I love the smell... We have also used Unscented Burt's Bees during infancy.
I didn't like the lavender smelling CA Baby bath wash... But I had gotten it on sale, so just finished it and went back to Burt's.

We've been using babyganics and love it!! Their waterproof sunscreen is actually waterproof!

I really dislike the Burt's bee scent, and didn't know there was unscented! I like ca baby a lot, but we use honest company the most .

We use Burt's Bees unscented. Works fine, but I feel like it kind of dries her hair out.

We started with California Baby and hated it - he smelled terrible, even right after a bath! I picked up a bottle of Burts Bees at Target and we never looked back. I looooove the way he smells now. I just sit and inhale him after a bath, ha ha ha!

@Mrs. Jacks: I just googled both products in combination with African-American, black, etc. and found better reviews for CB. We'll have to just test it out!
