I just bought the Super Sensitive line from California Baby since my son has very dry skin with red patches and he has cradle cap. I like the shampoo and conditioner but the lotion I noticed has little fine particles in it. I'm not sure if that is normal or a defect in the particular bottle I bought. I tried a google search but can't find anything mentioning that. Anyone else use this particular lotion?

I have never noticed any fine particles and I would definitely try to exchange it!

We use that, too, and no fine particles that I can see/feel.

I also have some and I really don't like it. I don't remember if it was fine particles or just that it didn't work for us. We use Weleda lotion instead and it's pretty amazing stuff.

@Audge10: Where did you buy your bottle from? I just bought one from diapers.com and I'm noticing the same thing.

Yes and very smooth. Don't get the diaper cream (it has zinc oxide) just the baby cream. It has calendula and has been great even with M's tough eczema.

DD's developed a little eczema and I'm in search of a new lotion for her. We already use their shampoo/body wash and I'm really happy with it, but never thought of trying their lotion.

I find that california baby products are too strong smelling. for dry skin I would use Cerave moisurizing body lotion. It worked great for us

@Swedishfish I got my bottle at Target. Maybe there is a bad batch out there? I'm going to return it and give it a try. If it doesn't work then I'll try Weleda. I've heard good things about that brand as well.

Audge10, did you return your lotion? I too have a defective bottle I purchased from target. I've emailed and called CB, but had yet to receive a response.

I just started using California Baby super sensitive lotion and no fine particles BUT I think it stinks! It's suppose to be fragrance free but I dunno, smells weird to me.
I'd definitely take it back
