How would one know If they are pregnant if they still haven't gotten their period from after the last baby? Just wondering!

Symptoms? I don't really know though because my only real symptom in early pregnancy was being tired and mild cramps. I'm already tired and probably wouldn't think much of mild cramps!

Other than taking a pregnancy test... you probably wouldn't know. I had to have several pregnancy tests before I got my mirena put in for exactly this reason. No period since baby means no guaranteed confirmation that you're not pregnant. Luckily, I wasn't pregnant b/c I am so not ready for another baby yet!!

@skibobrown: I found out when I got the bill for my Mirena that they had given me a pregnancy test at my appointment. I know I had to pee in a cup but it never occurred to me that that was why. It makes sense though.
ETA: I did realize that they also checked when they did the ultrasound part while putting the Mirena in.

I was just thinking this today because my DD is almost 3.5 months and no period yet, I would NOT be ready for another baby right now

Dizzy...nausea. DS is 14 weeks so I guess it's possible. I seriously doubt I am, but I guess there's a small probability.

I don't think that's a dumb question! Definitely testing would be the most realistic way of finding out.

If I tested would it even show up positive?? With my luck I'm probably getting the flu!

I've definitely wondered the same thing because I'm 10.5 months post partum and still no period. I got pregnant my first cycle off BC and the only way I knew I was pregnant with DD was because I was charting. Otherwise I had no symptoms. Right now, we're only using the pullout method for BC, so there's always a chance we could get pregnant without knowing.

@babyboecksmom kind of same deal, I was charting and got pg on about 3rd cycle. I didn't know I was pg until 10 weeks so kind if a weird deal.
