No frer yet, but I did retest this morning since the sample last night was pretty diluted.
If I can't get into the dr soon (waiting for them to call me back...) then I might pick up a frer for later in the week.
DH doesn't think the line is dark enough for me to *actually* be pregnant. He doesn't understand that any line is a line! So I left him this darker one this morning.

@simplyfelicity: nice! My DH was the same when I showed him the first test. He said "but it's hardly there, when does it mean that you are pregnant?"

My OB called this morning and they were able to get me in early for my 1st appointment (they usually wouldn't see me until next week at the earliest)
I saw a doctor I haven't seen before (I'd seen 3/5) and she was SO NICE!
She went ahead and put in a script for progesterone and said I could start taking it before the blood test was back because too much = I feel icky, but too little = baby feels icky. One of those is better than the other...
First sono is scheduled at 7 weeks (I had it on the books already because I was supposed to have a cyst monitored). I'm nervous about that since last time we measured two weeks behind and then MCed. But at least I have graduation and moving to a new house to keep me occupied for the next month while we wait.
Thank you all for the prayers and well wishes!

@MaryM: I am right where you are. Waiting for the U/S, hoping this is my sticky one.... But it's so hard to be confident or even excited sometimes. Glad you'll be busy to distract you. I hope this time everything is perfect for you!

@travellingbee: What week are you? Maybe we can be buddies. I saw your post in pregnancy after IF and feel the same. DH and I haven't gotten excited, but happily we're not as freaked out as last time, so hopefully that's good (our MC baby was not planned for, but I felt completely doomed from the very beginning for some reason. I don't feel doomed now, but still find myself stopping myself from getting completely excited)

@MaryM: 5w3d.... My US is next Tuesday at 6w2d. I definitely didn't feel anything but terrified until my 2nd beta came back strong. Then I allowed myself little hints of excitement. Buuuut, I'm still scared. They aren't doing betas for you?
pomelo / 5129 posts
@travellingbee: They'll only do betas if they see a reason for it (like if I start spotting). They are doing a blood test to confirm pregnancy, but won't do multiples without there being a reason for it.
They might be more proactive if I'd had more than one loss, but I've only had the one pregnancy...so...
I'm pretty satisfied with them at least being proactive about the progesterone.
Next Tuesday is so soon!

@MaryM: Glad to hear it about the progesterone. I am on a progesterone suppository (crinone) as well and they have me taking baby aspirin. It is just precautionary really though as my levels have always been fine and I don't seem to have any blood clotting issues, per my repeat loss bloodwork. So will you get a number or just a quantitative (yes/no) answer with your HCG test? My fingers are crossed very, very hard for you!

@travellingbee: I'm not sure if they're doing a yes/no test or a beta that will give a number. Previously I only got a yes/no, but I never thought to ask if they had the numbers. But they have online records now so I think I'll be able to see more.

Update: So the doctor still hasn't called (grrrr) but my results were at least finally posted online.
Both HCG and progesterone seem slightly high! yay!

138 on 13 dpo
they flagged it as "high", but I don't think it's necessarily "omg is it twins" high...

@MaryM: nah it's just good high. Mine was 141 on 14dpo.
