Love our small Hape play kitchen, it’s had over six years of solid every day use and is still in excellent condition apart from some sun fade.

We have the kidkraft vintage in navy blue and it’s survived 3 kids! It’s very well made I think. No experience with others but part of the reason I picked it was to blend into the background since we’ve lived in small places with it.

We had the kidcraft vintage one, and loved it. I liked that it was wood, it seemed more solid and sturdy. Lots of doors to open and close, the kids played with it for years.

@periwinklebee: Oh God yes, the assembling. Do not leave it for Christmas Eve!

We have the Kidcraft vintage kitchen in white. I decided on that one because it has lots of storage and blends in well with our decor, as well as fits in the small space we had available. My daughter is 4, and she still loves to play with it.

@erinbaderin: It was originally going to be a Christmas present. But Christmas is almost exactly my EDD, and I needed to get it together before I got even bigger Definitely the most annoying thing I've put together in a LONG time, and that's inclusive of real furniture! At first I was thinking - why on earth is everyone on hellobee so into this kitchen, they must either be furniture assembly geniuses or total suckers for punishment - but it looks so cute together and so much less of an eyesore than some of them that it's worth it now... My LO hasn't really been into yet, but I figure either he ultimately will be, or if not maybe his sister will be, a la @kayla0416: Somebody better be, lol...

I like anything wood and with a smaller foot print. I have no idea what brand mine is (hand me down) but it's wood and I don't know how old it was when I got it, but it's been in my house for 4 years and still going strong! I def like ones with cabinets/compartments/drawers to hide stuff.

@Kemma: How hard is the Hape to put together? We have no time and hate doing this kind of thing! Should I hire a task rabbit?
