Okay, I have what feels like a dinosaur 2008 MacBook. I'm running Snow Leopard, but I know my Safari is outdated too and I would like to update it. I don't have Keynote and want to get that also. Does anyone know if this stuff is available to update online? I don't like anywhere near an Apple Store. TIA.

They told me at the Apple Store that you can order updates online. You just figure out what you need, pay your money then order the cd online to come to you.

My mac won't take anymore upgrades. Something with the old processor. So there is a point they can't go any further.

Former Apple Store employee here. You can download Safari and other general system updates free using the Software Update feature under the Apple menu (upper left corner). Keynote is part of iWork, which you can purchase from the App Store (also under the Apple menu). No disks needed!
