I gave my right breast a night off on Sunday because whatever Sive was doing with her latch really hurt, then last night I tried to manually express some milk as I'm away from babies. I got two ounces from my left breast and less than half an ounce from my right. Is this something to worry about? Will it recover if I persevere?

Drink water and give the right breast first. Having the baby suck on it will increase demand. You could also pump

agree with blushink....got to get that breast back into production....it's a supply-demand machine, so you need to just demand some more from it

I've done this too because I prefer to feed in bed on my left side and it increases my supply on that breast and I will get a bit of a drop on the other side.
Next feeding start with the low side. Also, if you do need to rest because you are sore try to pump to keep it up if you're missing a feeding!
