My 2.5 month old has one crusty and watery eye. No swelling, no redness. Just slightly grouchy. She also has been drooling a ton and her bottom gums are white. So I'm wondering if it could be related to teething or if she may have an infection and I should take her in...

Eye gunk is usually a sign of an ear infection for us.

K had a blocked tear duct until she was about 1, and it always gunked up badly when she was sick or teething. But, it was a problem that we noticed pretty soon after birth- have you noticed a watery/gunky eye before?
Worth getting it looked at, in case it is an infection. A little breast milk always seemed to help with the worst of the gunk.

It sounds like a blocked tear duct to me. We just had it. Our pediatrician recommended that we massage the inner corner of her eye a couple of times a day and it cleared right up.
