I am not good at this! If a random child is crying outside of my apartment, then I will always stop and listen. My logic is as follows: maybe Charlie or Olive broke out of school and came home... and then broke into tears in front of our house because they wanted to come inside.

This is incredibly unlikely and yet I always stop and listen to crying kids as they walk by our apartment. When they were babies, I used to be able to distinguish our kids' cries from other babies, but most toddler cries kinda sound the same to me these days. I have to listen for a while before I'm sure that it's not our kid. Need to work on that one.

Can you distinguish your toddler's cries from other toddlers?
