Can you hula hoop? How long can you hula before the hoop falls to the ground?

Actually I was in a hula hoop contest at a picnic last year and some how I managed to get to the semi finals. It was a total miracle!
Then I choked under pressure. It was pretty sad.

Yes! I'm a really, really good hula hooper. When I was younger my best friend and I would hula hoop for hours. We could do all kinds of things while hula hooping: walk around, jump, do the macarena, add hoops, etc.
Have you seen the hula hoop fitness classes? Kind of interested in those.

Yes! I couldn't do it as a kid, but I rediscovered hula hooping on the playground with my class one day and I'm amazing!

@mrbee: That's another great way to exercise! My MIL owns a gym and they have hula hoop classes where they use weighted hula hoops.
I'm not good at it, but my mom has won a hula hoop contest before.

I suck at it, but at a family cookout a couple years ago I found out my mom is FREAKISHLY good... I'm still not sure how I feel about that...

I can hula hoop. I can even walk and hula hoop. I really loved it when I was a kid.

I love to hula hoop! I could seriously do it forever. I actually have a weighted one that is supposed to trim your waist!

I used to hula hoop all the time when I was younger, but haven't picked one up in awhile so I'm not sure if I still can.
@mrsjyw: the game on Wii makes me sweat like crazy and I love the awesome ab workout I get out of it!
