Now that I've helped raise a toddler of my own, I find that I can understand almost all toddlers... and more importantly, I've learned how to talk back to them so that they understand.

It's interesting when I see my non-parent friends talk to Charlie... they use all sorts of words that I just know no toddler will understand. Ah, just a few years ago I was making the same mistakes! I don't say anything... the confused looks on the kids' face says it all.
