My LO can't sleep in there at all...only when we had the bassinet attachment for the first 4.5 months!
Can your LO sleep in the PNP?

Only had to try once as we were at someone's house and she did not nap. At home, she would just nap in the crib.

Yup. Each week at my nanny job he would take his naps there, however they were significantly shorter than his naps at home in his crib.
I might have him take a few more naps in it as we'll have a few holiday events where he'll need to nap in it again and he just isn't as happy with a nap less than an hour long.

both charlie and olive have had no problems napping and sleeping overnight in the pack n play any time we've traveled. they even went into it awake and we kept our regular routine.

Yes. He sleeps in a pack and play when we go to visit grandma but the room still needs to be very dark and we make sure to bring his lovey and white noise.

@Sammyfab: same here - we always kept the room dark and played white noise. i've put trash bags over windows before!

Yes! She prefers it over anything else but we keep it at my parents house.

We are leaving LO with relatives next weekend ...their house isn't really baby proof so I wanted to bring the PNP so they can put LO in there when they need to do stuff without her. I don't want to bring the Baby Bjorn crib too...maybe I can train her to sleep in the PNP this week!

Yes----the flat part while I'm out of the room and the bassinet part when I'm supervising.... I don't love the bassinet

Surprisingly my LO has never had issues going to the PnP. Part of me wonders if it's because the nights she sleeps in it (when we travel) she's in the same room as us, beside the bed though.

I certainly hope so! DD slept in the PNP for the first 4 months of her life, and she'll be sleeping in there again over Thanksgiving while we travel.

She slept in the bassinet portion until she was about 3 months old, but never in the actual p-n-p. Not sure how she'd sleep in it... probably not well, because she only likes to sleep in her crib.

My son hated the PnP! I totally regretted buying that thing! But my DD doesn't mind it too much. She sleeps in it at night right now but I don't think she's that comfortable in it. We're planning on moving her to her crib in a month (which is in her room). I didn't want to get up in the middle of the night so I had her sleep in the PnP in our room. But I think she's starting to sort of establish a schedule so I might have her sleep in the crib soon. I still regret buying the PnP. I'd rather have bought a really comfortable bassinet or maybe the Rock N Play!

We use the pack n play for traveling and she sleeps great in it. Here she is camping last weekend, first sleeping and then happy in the morning because she had a good night's sleep

Yup, she sleeps great in the pack n play. We had her sleeping in one on vacation in September and she will sleep in one next weekend, as well. Doesn't seem to faze her much.
