One of my coworkers got attacked the other night and is injured and out of work for a while. He's fine, but I'm sure shaken up. I wanted to send him a care package but I have no idea what he likes. He's a middle aged man, living with his partner, no kids, small city apartment. Any ideas? He likes wine, so thats one thing I know for sure I'll include.

A nice card, wine (you mentioned that already) maybe a gift card to whatever your local food delivery service is if there is one (here we have seamless), maybe an interesting non-offensive candle, bath soak, an orchid or some other low maintenxe flower or plant.

I second the idea of a meal service gift card! Also maybe a small gift card to Amazon (for him to stream a movie?) Package it all up as a "relaxing evening"?

I think anything related to meals will be helpful so he and/or his partner don't have to worry about it. Gift card to a local grocery store, Amazon pantry stuff, food delivery, etc.
I also like the idea of getting things for a relaxing evening!
