They gave us one at the Hospital. I put it on her seat a few weeks ago, but the woman at the hospital told us to put them under the padding of the seat. I might snag another one to put on the outside back of the seat as well.

I never heard of this, but it's a good idea. BUT, wouldn't they treat the baby the same either way, if there weren't any medical complications (like, no allergies or anything like that)?
Either way the emergency contact info and such is a good idea.

@Foodnerd81: I'm sure they would treat the baby for injuries with or without the info, but it might make paperwork easier, and baby may not even be hurt, so they'd have to have someone to call and take it. I think it would help identify family and make things easier to figure out who to give LO to? Also, the allergies is a good thing to have listed...along with Dr info for history and emergency contact. I'd rather they call my mom or MIL to get my LOs rather than send them to cps, even for a short time.

This is a good idea! Where would you put said "sticker" so that it's easily seen by people? Only spot I think would be a good idea is on the back side/behind the carseat, but does anyone know to look there?

Yes, my husband put it on when he installed the carseat before she was born after doing the carseat check.
