My toddlers liked first book in The Boxcar Children series but they were so bored with Beezus and Ramona!

We are reading the Jesus Storybook Bible, which was recommended to me here. It's a chapter book and it's actually keeping us all entertained so far. I know it's not for everyone.

We are reading Little House on the Prairie but the kid version part of the My First Little House series. I think it's a good ease into real chapter books.

DS (3 next week) like charlotte's web and also likes the magic treehouse book. He likes listening to the lion, the witch, and the wardrobe, too (I wouldn't have chosen it, but he grabbed it off the shelf and asked), but I don't think he understood it all that well.
