I didn't buy them today because they were too pricey at the optometrist, and he will inevitably lose or break them.
Does your little one wear glasses? Where did you buy them?

I wore glasses as a child. Lenscrafters generally has a good selection of frames, is reasonably inexpensive, and they have replacement programs (for damage, not loss)!

I have worn glasses since I was a child. When I was little, we always got ours at LensCrafters because they were inexpensive and had a decent selection. I never lost mine.

Have you looked into America's Best? http://www.americasbest.com/ They usually have affordable glasses. I think they are the ones where you can get 2 pairs for $70. My sister has gotten her glasses for her and her two teenager kids there.

my mom always bought them off the discount rack at the optometrist office.

I think little kids in glasses are so super cute! Target has great deals on glasses for kids. The last pair I bought for myself from LensCrafters was waaaay not cheap, but maybe they have better deals for younguns? I remember thinking the price for lenses was crazy; my current ones are the America's Best deal someone mentioned above.

@Mrs. Bee: Oh, do they not have samples to try in their store? I got two pairs from them about 5 years ago and I think I remember trying out several pairs.
