I read the other day that the average person looks at their phone 34 times a day. Do you think you do it more, less or does that sound about right?
I'm willing to bet I do it more than that, which sounds crazy to me!! I hate being so "dependent" on a stupid phone!

Yeah, probably more. My DH must spend several hours a day staring at his phone, reading the news, checking Twitter, playing games. It drives me crazy!

Way less over here, but that's because I broke down and got a really simple, non smartphone. I hated being tied to the world 24/7! When I'm at home, I use my tablet like crazy though.

I get a lot of text messages throughout the day! Plus I check IG, emails, HB.

@Cherrybee: my DH does that, too! Drives me bonkers!! I introduced hi to the game TinyTowers and some days it seems like that is literally all he does lol.

That number seems really low lol! I think people check their phones waaay more than that!

I probably do it WAY more, but my dH has a regular phone and he barely checks it once a day - so it's possible we average out to 34!

@coacheswife123: Ahh! Does he have that *ding* noise on? Every time I hear the ding I cringe, lol. I swear it notifies him of something literally 3 seconds after he puts his phone down.

@fussygal: no thank god I would lose it ! But he takes forever on the bathroom these days and I finally asked him why and he said its bc his tower is so tall

oh probably even more! it's sad. sometimes I try to have "tech-free" days to refocus myself and evaluate priorities! I try to be on it a lot less my days off when I'm with J!
