I've read that chemical pregnancies are hard to detect unless you've tested positive and then negative after (and then seeing a doc to confirm). Compared to a regular period, your chemical period would be like a regular period, possibly with heavier flow, more PMS symptoms like cramping, and more tissue/clots passed.
The only bit of information I couldn't find is if a chemical period would last longer or shorter than your regular period?
My periods are irregular, always heavy with clots, full blown PMS. I don't need to go back and see if I've had chemicals' but moving forward, it would help to know how to distinguish the two. If I am having re-occuring chemical pregnancies, I'd like to be able to tell my physician.
Does anyone have insight into this? Thanks in advance!
at 13), so it is quite rare. If you've been trying for at least a year without any luck, I think it would be worth bringing up to a doctor, but most won't take you seriously unfortunately. I had good luck seeing a naturopath who looked more in-depth into my history.
