Definitely chewy! DH likes the hard kind and always makes me darn near burn a batch cookies when I make then just because he likes the crunchy ones.

I should add that I dip my hard ones into milk, so I am not sure what that makes them.

Chips Ahoy is the only type of cookie I like hard. I think the soft kind have a weird flavor.

I like cookies that are crispy on the outside and chewy in the inside. Those are hard to find though!

I usually like chewy cookies with crisp edges, but I grew up eating the hard Chips Ahoy cookies dipped in milk to make them softer... so for Chips Ahoy, I voted hard!
