Let's assume that your kids were being watched a magical fairy godmother who could ensure the kids were happy, well-fed and well-rested.
Would you prefer to travel for a week... or stay at home and just catch up on sleep?

I'd definitely go away! I could be sleeping on a beach somewhere.

Travel. Is it weird if I'd want my LO to come with me though?

I'd want to travel too. We rarely get to travel unless we are going to my parents or my inlaws (neither are a "vacation" in any sense of the word) so I'd love to get away with DH.

Definitely travel! No such thing as a staycation to me, too many projects to do around the house that I would hate to waste a vacation on them.
I imagine when we travel again, it will be at a much slower pace than we usually do on vacation. I usually need a vacation from my vacations.

Before I would have said staycation. Now that RJ is older and I'm not worried about his eating or napping anymore (as long as he is alive at the end, I'm 100% fine) I would say travel!!! Luckily we have a few long weekends coming up when our magical fairy godmother (aka Grandma, Rob's mom) is going to come and watch RJ so we can go away a few times before baby girl comes.

i guess depends because i'm not sure just how much sleep i will be deprived of. but as of right now, i'd say traveling because i LOVE traveling! probably a mixture of both. like 4-5 days travel, 2-3 days staycation.

Definitely travel, get away and relax. If I am at home I would be cleaning/organizing/ect. and can never just relax. If I'm on a vacation, it is all about relaxing for us!

Travel! We never got a honeymoon and I would love some time with just DH!

I would stay at home and do all the things I want to do but can't because of baby duties. I love my home!

Travel, for sure. Where can I sign up for this fairy godmother service?

Travel, definitely. Somewhere where I can get a new passport stamp, if possible!

Oh definitely away! My dad lives with us and DH's family are only four miles away so we'd get absolutely no peace. Definitely away, a nice hotel, meals handed to you, no housework... I want to go now!
