Since getting married and having kids, our Christmas wish list has changed quite a bit!
I used to ask for things like... a rifle, laptop, things for me. Last year, I asked for a vacuum! (Which I got and is the best thing ever!) This year, I would like baby stuff to set up the nursery.
What do you want for Christmas? How has your wish list changed since marriage/children?

After seeing the blog post on cleaning supplies I asked my husband for the steam cleaner. He responded to me that my mom would kill him if on Christmas morning I opened up my gifts and it was there so he is passing! He is more of the mindset that christmas gifts should be frivolous whereas I believe that christmas gifts should be more practical.

For the last few birthdays and Christmas I have asked and gotten things like a new front porch (DIY but my dad showed us how), a fence (gradually saving money by fogoing gifts), a utility sink, a washer and dryer...the list goes on and on. I definitely feel like growing up because I don't usually ask for the 'fun' stuff anymore...lol

DH and I went very practical with gift since back when we first moved in together. Actually more exciting to get practical things for the home and what not than things for myself. My last Birthday I found out what DH was going to get me, because it was a pair of Vibram shoes which you need to try on, cant really guess the size. Well I didnt really NEED them, and I told him that, that it was sweet but I feel bad because I didnt really need them, he asked what would make you happy to have for your bday. I said to go shopping at Home Depot. LOL We did some home improvement instead!
