What are you getting for your kids? Your parents? Your partner? I need some suggestions!
Inspired by another thread, I think I’m going to get the Nugget couch for the boys. Probably the Osmo Hotwheels set for my 5 year old and the Little Genius set for the 3 year old. I think maybe the Playmobil space shuttle for the little guy. That’s as far as I’ve gotten.
My husband, I think, is getting AirPods and brooklinen sheets.

my dad- i think we will try to get an outdoor camera that connects to his phone so he can spy on the wildlife that bothers his chicken feed, etc

Some ideas from my notebook below. We are taking our girls to NYC before the holidays to do the 'Christmas in the City' thing so some gifts will be experiences or items from this vacation, which in itself is a major family gift for all of us.
DD1 (7 yo): personalized book, playmobil advent set (Christmas ball), pearler beads and forms, a new card game, xmas pjs, tree ornament, American Girl doll (and lunch at the NYC store).
DD2 (1 yo): personalized book, tree ornament, little toys (play remote, phone, some things like this), Bitty Baby doll (at the NYC store). She has tons of hand-me-down toys from big sis and she is a baby so she doesn't care about presents yet 
DH: Absolutely no idea... I feel like I always find the *perfect* gift for him late in the game so I'm looking out! Prior recent gifts have been a log rack for firewood outside, heavy duty gloves for (again) fire and grilling, a rare soccer jersey from his favorite team.
As for parents and siblings - not really certain yet. Probably something small since the whole family isn't huge on gifting. I saw some cool paint-by-numbers kits that can be made from your own photo which is right up SIL's alley. Might do that for a few people who would like that kind of activity/gift. Maybe a photo album of the baby's first year for my mom and MIL.

In our house, each person receives a stocking and then the kids get one big gift to share—that’s it—so stockings are a big deal. The problem with Googling “stocking stuffers” is that for a lot of people, stockings are filled with everyday things like underwear and toothbrushes, but I’m looking for high quality gifts that can fit in a stocking. Here is what I’m thinking so far.
Everyone receives a clementine, lottery scratch off ticket, book, and special candy.
Kids (girls, ages 2.5 and 6):
Glow sticks
Card games (for the older)
A baby doll (for the younger)
Slinkys
Stickers
Mini tegu block sets
I’m considering getting an American Girl doll for my six year old, but I’m torn about whether I should wait another year.
I think the big shared gift this year will be an indoor swing. Oh, and we are also taking them to Disney World the week before Christmas.

My husband is really hard to shop for. I’ve already gifted him a lot of the common items I see on lists—wireless headphones, multitool, flashlight, tool kit, wallet, etc. If he needs something for one of his hobbies, he usually buys it for himself during the year. I’ll be watching this thread for ideas!

For DS: a cool “dollhouse” but it’s like a fire station / police station model from us and a “giant fork lift” (his request) from Santa, and a stocking.
For DW and me: we are each getting an Apple Watch finally!! And then stocking stuffers. For her stocking so far I am thinking a yeti water cup, a travel coffee mug, a couple of books, and some products from Lush.

DS will be a little shy of 2. We're expecting LO2 right around Christmas so I'm thinking about getting him his own baby doll with some accessories, as he loves doing what mommy is doing. Can anybody suggest something not too expensive that has a range of skin tones available?
I'm also trying to decide if we should bite the bullet and get him a toy kitchen, either for Christmas or for his birthday at the end of January. I think he would love it - and it might reduce his propensity to want to play with the real kitchen - but it's a big toy. What brands do people have?

@periwinklebee: We have had a KidKraft play kitchen for years and years now and it's held up to a lot of use. They have a bunch of styles and sizes available so you can find what fits your space and needs best. A lot of the smaller footprint sets are less than $100.
There are also sometimes good deals for Black Friday through stores like Target or Kohls which can bring prices down.

@periwinklebee: do it! The play kitchen is the #1 used thing in my house for my 2 kids and their older cousins (up to 12) use it too!!! Hours of entertainment especially when you are cooking or tending to baby

@periwinklebee: Yess do the play kitchen! I prefer wood. Had ours 2nd hand from when DD1 was a toddler; she is almost 5 and both my girls still play with it. Possibilities are endless!

@periwinklebee: We have a kidkraft kitchen that I will link below. DD received it for her first birthday but we didn’t build it until she was 18 months. She’ll be five soon and still plays with it everyday. It’s held up pretty well considering it’s used daily and we moved it last year.
And as far as dolls - the first doll that we introduced was a baby Stella doll. They have a decent selection of dolls. It was her favorite until she was 3.5 or so.

I desperately need ideas for DD. Her birthday is also in December (she'll be 5) and family has already been asking for ideas. I have some ideas for small things but hoping to come up with a few bigger ideas.
Things I know she is getting from us:
A fleece blanket that I am making

We're not a big gift-giving family, and the kids get tons from grandparents already, so I feel like we're pretty stingy compared to most here! Our kids are also only 3.5 and 22 months, so that will probably change as they get older and want more expensive things. I always love all of the suggestions on this thread! I really need to cut my budget in like half this year. Here are my thoughts, but I'm totally going to revise as I go along:
3 y.o. - refurbished ipad mini; cute flashlight; maybe some costco crayons activity box thing; a pair of shoes
1.5 y.o. - refurbished ipad mini and cute flashlight; (because she must have everything her sister has); toy dyson vaccum; a pair of shoes
maybe a wheely bug for each of them if budget permits.
my niece - moulin routy flower press; maybe a sweater or some other article of clothing
(my sister will get her daughter and my two girls all matching bathing suits - an awesome gift that lasts us the entire year)

We don’t do gifts for each other or our parents. My LO is only 20 mos so she won’t know what’s going on but I think I’m going to get her a mini scooter just because I want to. Also eyeing a toy kitchen. We live in a small space so thinking about the Hape one.

@agold: I love them. I’d say that realistically they are not out most played with toy but their are beautiful and very open ended and make great addition to blocks/other toys. We make tunnels for trains, stack them in interesting ways, etc. I get them for my babies who are too young to care what they get because I’m not sure that out of the box they are the most exciting but they do make a nice addition to a toy collection overall.
I just got the large nesting boxes for my one year old and they are great, have been garages, houses, and just used for stacking. The nesting bowls are nice too. I love the flower stacker. I think I will go with one of the gnome house shaped ones or maybe the waves.

We have a kidkraft kitchen that’s been around since the oldest was the same age as your son - we have the retro model and it’s not too huge - we had it in our city apartment. Definitely a good investment - she liked emptying it (fair warning!) around 2 and did more pretend play as she got older.
For dolls - we have a Corolle Calin which I love but there isn’t a huge selection of ethnicities - it’s hard to beat bitty baby for that. My kids loved the diaper bag and such from Melissa and Doug, and Target also has cute cheaper accessories.
