Have you done any fall activities yet?
We took DS to the cider mill on our anniversary a couple wks ago. (tradition)
We haven't made it to the pumpkin patch or apple orchard yet. Waiting for some cooler weather.
Can't wait!

We did apple picking last weekend... Going to get some mums and pumpkins for our front porch this weekend! I can't wait to take LO to all these things next year when she'll be almost 1!

We did apple picking this weekend because I wasn't sure we would be able to go if we waited any longer (I'm 38w5d). We will probably just pick out a pumpkin from our local farmstand, along with some mums and fall decorations.

We went apple picking yesterday and ended up getting a pumpkin too! After apple picking, the hay ride stopped at the farm's pumpkin patch, and J was so excited about the pumpkins, DH let her pick one out. She loved the apple picking and cider. She actually snuck out of the store, while we were paying for the apples, and helped herself to more cider samples out front... little rascal! We had a blast all around!

we did apple picking and pumpkin patch yesterday!! so much fun, that farm also had a little petting zoo and the hayrides.
The apple cider donuts and the homemade ice cream from the bakery there were just heavenly! I ended up with so many apples I made a giant batch of apple sauce and a delicious pie! And I still have bags left over to give to my parents LO had the time of her life!

@Mrsbells: I need to make apple sauce... I made apple crisp last night, which was heavenly, but not very healthy!

We are planning to take LO to pick out a pumpkin at a local farm in a few weeks. I would love to go apple picking also but I think I will save that for next year.

We went to a place that has all three! My c-section is on Friday, so if we wanted to take our son we figured better do it earlier in the season. Decided it was too early for pumpkins but we had fresh donuts, went apple picking, played in bales of hay, and went on a hay ride.

I was planning to go to the fall festival at our favorite farm next weekend, but it's supposed to be 100 degrees. No, thank you. The following weekend my husband is out of town, so then we are getting really close to halloween, but we will have to make it work! No cider mills nearby, same with apple picking.

We went to the apple orchard last week. My LOs are only 5 months and slept in the Ergos most of the time, but I wanted to be able to say we've taken them every year of their lives.

I took L to an apple festival on Saturday and yesterday we took him to the (free!) corn maze and pumpkin patch by our house.

We've been apple picking twice and will probably go pumpkin picking sometime in October! We also went for a pinecone hunting expedition, which felt kind of fall-ish?

We just went the past weekend! It had a orchard, pumpkin patch, corn maze (we didn't make it though) and a petting zoo. So much fun! We took home some apple cider and cider donuts and pumpkin cheesecake!
This is the first year that DD was fully aware of what was going on. She really enjoyed picking pumpkins and the apples. What a nice tradition

We went apple picking and DH took DD to a pumpkin patch this past weekend and they had a blast. I want to try to go on a hay ride and pony ride for DD, hopefully we can go this weekend.

We went to a pumpkin festival this past weekend. Pretty soon, the local orchard will have their apple festival, too.

We're planning on doing a pumpkin patch next weekend. I'm really excited b/c DD (age 2.5) is finally ready to really enjoy this activity. The one we're going to has an apple stand, pumpkin patch, hay rides, corn maze, farm animals, and live music. I think she'll have a blast!

We went apple picking a few weekends ago and plan to go a few more times- either pumpkin picking or another fall activity. I am obsessed with fall in New England

@twodoghouse: you four are the cutest!
We took LO to the fall fair this weekend. The weather was amazing. We are hoping to go to the apple orchard this weekend. I was kinda hoping she'd be walking by now (13.5 months) but I think we will still have a great time at orchard.
