What do you do if you are doing extinction & they are sitting up in the crib? Should I go lay her back down?
Edit: I just went in & laid her down & she's asleep now

It depends. We just moved her crib down today because she was sitting up, stretching her hands over the side. If it is bad crying, I usually will go in and pick her up and rub her back. Then put her back down again.

In the middle of a night wake up now and we are visiting my parents so I'm so lost with what to do. Based on the cry I think he's just awake and pissed no one else is. He was a crap napper today so I saw this coming. Ah this parenting thing is so hard.

@jetsa: That makes sense. But honestly, she went back to sleep like 5 minutes after I laid her down so I kind of prefer that to listening to her scream while she is "stuck" sitting up...

And we are up again tonight, even earlier than last night. I'm trying to be patient because we are at my parents and he's in a PNP but I'm tired and DH didn't come with us.
